As the General Contractor, Michuda Construction oversaw a comprehensive renovation of the Navy Pier Grand Ballroom East End. Originally constructed in 1916, this historic venue required extensive upgrades to enhance its appeal and functionality while preserving its architectural significance.
Scope of work included:
Structural and Historical Preservation: Restoration of the iconic 80-foot domed ceiling and architectural elements to maintain the venue’s historical integrity, including refinishing original surfaces and restoring intricate details.
