Orland Park, IL—Representatives from Michuda Construction, Inc. and Heritage Enterprises gathered with local dignitaries, prospective tenants, and members of the community to celebrate the grand opening of Evergreen Senior Living at Parkview Campus, located at 10820 183rd Street in Orland Park.

“Evergreen Senior Living at Parkview Campus represents the best of Michuda Construction’s senior living and healthcare expertise. We are proud to have served as developer and construction manager, especially on a project in our own community,” said Mark A. Michuda, COO and Executive Vice President.

Evergreen Senior Living strives to reshape the idea of aging, with an emphasis on helping residents live life to the fullest. They are committed to supporting and maintaining the dignity, independence, and wellness of each senior and their family.

The two campus options include Evergreen Place Assisted Living and The Legacy. The community offers 116 apartments: 76 assisted living apartments located in Evergreen Place, and 40 memory support apartments within the secured cottage of The Legacy.

The partnership between Michuda Construction and Heritage Enterprises allowed the builder and operator to steer the design decisions, ensuring that the layout and functionality is customized for how the unique services will be delivered.

“Design and construction was launched with a clear directive,” Michuda said. “Benjamin Hart, the President & CEO from Heritage set the tone for the development at project onset, when he said ‘I want each of you to have an image in your mind of your mother, your dad, or someone you love who is a senior. The design and the construction of this project requires that level of personal connection from each of you for us to be successful.’

I am proud of our design and construction team who responded to this challenge and grateful that we have been able to surround ourselves with a talented staff that possesses this same level of personal connection to this new campus and its mission.”

As developer and constructor, Michuda Construction oversaw all aspects of the project, from design through the construction process. Architectural services were provided by Worn, Jerabek Wiltz Architects PC of Chicago.
