Project Profile
Michuda successfully completed
the transformation of an existing
Cath Lab and adjacent support
areas to accommodate new
imaging equipment, expanded
clinical functionality, and upgraded
MEP infrastructure. The project
introduced a new Procedure
Room and reconfigured systems
throughout the suite, all executed
in a highly sensitive environment
surrounded by active patient care
spaces.

Michuda’s healthcare team successfully completed the renovation of Cath Lab #3
and the build-out of a new Procedure Room, managing intricate system upgrades
and interior improvements within an active hospital setting.
Key Elements of the Project:
Cath Lab Renovation – Provided new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and
architectural requirements to support new imaging equipment, including
reconfigured utilities, structural coordination, and system integration.
New Procedure Room – Built out a fully compliant clinical setting with updated
finishes, lighting, casework, and technology infrastructure.
Occupied-Space Coordination – Performed work in the ceiling spaces below to
remove legacy infrastructure without interrupting operations in the occupied
areas.
Infection Control & Logistics – Installed hard containment, established a dedicated
construction access route, and maintained strict separation to ensure no impact on
adjacent clean spaces.
Life-Safety Upgrades – Executed night-shift shutdowns to tie into existing fire alarm
systems and install a new pre-action fire sprinkler system, ensuring compliance
with hospital standards.
