PROJECT SCOPE
Emergency Department (ED) Addition
Scope: 9,442 sq.ft.
Challenge: Temporary Patient Drop-Off Point for EMS.
Solution: Converted Exam Room C into a temporary entrance with new sliding doors, a temporary canopy, and a workroom trailer for EMS. This ensured uninterrupted patient care during construction.
Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Renovation
Scope: 11,500 sq.ft.
Challenge: Structural deflection due to a new Air Handling Unit (AHU).
Solution: Removed the AHU, redesigned the steel beam, and reinstalled both the steel and AHU, ensuring structural integrity without delaying the project.
Emergency Department (ED) Renovation
Scope: 25,500 sq.ft.
Challenge: Working adjacent to the fire lane during key construction phases.
Solution: Developed a plan using cranes and pump trucks for materials, maintaining safety with traffic control and clear communication to protect staff, patients, and construction personnel.
OUTCOME
