PROJECT SCOPE
Michuda Construction provided Construction Management at Risk services for the replacement of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system in an MRI suite. This project was critical to maintaining the MRI’s operational continuity, allowing for uninterrupted imaging services even during power fluctuations or outages.
The scope of work included:
Dismantling and Removal of Existing UPS System: Safe decommissioning and removal of the previous UPS equipment, preparing the space for the new installation.
Installation of Upgraded UPS System: Integration of a new, high-performance UPS unit specifically configured to meet the power demands of MRI equipment, ensuring consistent operational reliability.
Electrical and Infrastructure Modifications: Necessary adjustments to existing electrical systems and infrastructure to accommodate the new UPS, including grounding and circuit updates for enhanced stability.
